The Youth Ministry at the Greater Refuge Temple continues to grow spiritually and numerically. Our youth department consists of young people from the cradle to age 25. The Youth Ministry is identified by the acronym
S.O.A.R, which stands for “Sold Out Anointed and Radical.” This provides focus for our young people and helps them to strive to be a witness to their generation in the last days.

The young people have their own prayer and Bible Study on Wednesday evening separate from the adults. The Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study gives our youth the opportunity to lead their peers in spiritual activities. They learn how to lead services from prayer to ministering the Word of God. At the Greater Refuge Temple of Christ we don’t believe that our youth are the church of tomorrow, we believe that they are the Church of today. The young people show their gifts without reservation unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They experience many challenges, but they are given instruction on how to overcome the things of the world. The young people at GRT really love the Lord and they express their love through praise and worship, praise dancing, stepping, plays, Gospel Rap etc. Our young people are very instrumental in our Television Broadcast; they serve as camera operators and directors. There is no doubt that as we pray for our young people they will be Generation “J” and through their exploits for Jesus Christ will remove the label from our youth of being Generation “X”.
